Heme iron
Over 80% of the iron in a regular mixed diet comes from meat in the form of heme iron, but this is not the only alternative today. Heme iron supplementation in tablet form has been well-tried over many years and it is ideal in several ways. The uptake is much higher than for non-heme.

About us
Already in 1970 began studies of Professor Peter Reizenstein at the Karolinska Institute to study the effects of using a hemoglobin iron compared to other non-organic iron.
In his team, he had Dr. Lars Ehn M.D. which at that time was a haematologist, and the two were soon able to demonstrate that the effects of hemoglobin iron far exceeded those of commercially available iron tablets of inorganic iron.
In the 1980s, one could discern the first product developed by Dr. Lars Ehn which was partly hemoglobin-based, and sales took off. The tablet had a pretty big impact and is still on the market. The hemoglobin-based product has been on the market for more than 30 years, and during this time has not revealed any side effects.
However, Lars Ehn could not stop thinking if there was a potential for development of hemoglobin and he then took contact with a larger food company who liked the idea.
2003 began efforts to strengthen the hemoglobin and, after more than 12 years, Lars Ehn substance was there.
With a unique process method, we have managed to bind a non-organic iron to hemoglobin molecules, with the result that raised the iron content of hemoglobin from 270mg / 100g to more than 3000mg / 100g. The combination of a hemoglobin iron and inorganic iron with the result that there is an iron uptake in both the stomach and the intestinal tract, and thus a significantly better absorption.
